Hurricane Wilma Strikes the Keys

Here are some pictures we took right after the storm of our house:

You can see our house on the left side of the picture, and near mid right, you can see the mast of the Taipan 5.7 which rode out the storm like a trooper.

The house was totally undamaged, but the yard and all the trees were practically wiped out.

There was some flooding, but we were far away and safe from it. The next street over had this:

And below is our little park at the end of the street:

We stopped at Silver Shores, a housing area for seniors and this is what we saw:

Here is our neighbors beautiful new spa she just added on.

Still in all, it appears we got off pretty easy.
