Question on Worrell 1000 Coverage

Worrell 1000 Coverage
(Note: If you already read about this, please Click Here to go straight to our Polling Booth)

Over the past few years Catsailor.com and Catamaran Sailor Magazine have tried to give you the most thorough, comprehensive coverage of the Worrell 1000 that we possibly could. The problem has always been that we have been restricted by availability of phone lines, the costs of transportation, and certainly manpower to get all this done.
So, for 2002 we would like to begin planning to rent a large, self-contained RV that has the ability to air broadcast directly to our website server while enroute. Editing of film, pictures and stories could be conducted right from this mobile communications center and sent up for your pleasure almost immediately.
We would also like to have GPS broadcasting equipment on all or many of the competitors boats that could send data to us, and then we could show that graphically on your computer screen at home/work.
In addition, we have plans of using aircraft to patrol the course, take video of the action, report tactics and windshifts, or whatever else is desired to get the news to you as fast as possible.
That would all be in addition to our normal, in-depth coverage, pictures and videos of the starts and finishes, and special interest articles.
All of this takes money to accomplish. And we are working hard at lining up sponsors to get this off the ground. However, sponsorship alone will probably not meet the budget layed out.
That is why we are asking YOU, the audience, what you would like to see and how much you are willing to help in order to see it. So, how best to find out if there is any interest -- ask you!
So the Question:
For Worrell 1000 race coverage, if it included hour-by-hour tracking over the course, streaming video while at sea, tactics and windshift data, in-depth interviews, pictures and stories presented within an hour of things actually happening -- almost like "live" TV, would be willing to pay a modest fee?

If you answered "Yes" to that question, how much would you be willing to pay for a one-time charge to enter the coverage pages:
If you are willing to use this Pay-to-See System, we would like to get an idea about how much do you think it would be worth to you.
