Just got home this morning. Following the F16GC I went to Norway and spent a few days with Rolf and his family. Plenty of opportunity to talk boat building and check out the spectacular scenery. Thanks Rolf, I had a great time.
When it comes to having a great time at a sailing event it is easy when the weather co-operates. The fact that the weather did not play ball for some of the event and we still had such a great time is testiment to both the organisers and the really friendly group of competitors. Without question I found all of them just great to be around. The fact this event was so good when the weather was not demonstrates to me that this class, as it stands, has a huge future. I can't wait until next year.
"Fly on the Wall" Signing off.
I know that the voices in my head aint real, but they have some pretty good ideas. There is no such thing as a quick fix and I've never had free lunch!
