I think at $1K you would probably be good (I wish thats all I paid <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />). Looks like the rudders went down the road in the down position... not pretty but repairable. Any used boat you will expect some repair/replacing so the less you pay initially really helps. Offer at $900 and see what happens. The worst that can happen is he'll say no, but on the other hand... hope he's not reading this!
