Doing a bit of a search to answer my own question I found this;

"Pierce Brosnan performed his own stunts during the boat crash scene." So it was himself.....

Then;

" ....said Rosenfeld, who worked as a sailing stunt double for Pierce Brosnan in "The Thomas Crowne Affair."
So it was Larry Rosenfield too!!!
