I for one am very grateful whenever I get information like that for the magazine, especially when it involves a youth sailor. Too bad I have to get it from someone in the Netherlands, instead of our local sailors right on the scene here in the U.S.
I fully understand why you mean. There was also another club event (but turned into regatta) recently were two adult/kids teams sailed well on F16's in an open fleet. I think it was Tom Shannon with his kid that earned a bullet in a race where also Jim Leonard and Lynn Olsen particaped. Both notible good sailors.
I think It is not in fact not uncommon to see such teams in this class. But Zach is indeed the most inspiring example. Sadly, everything that is published on the Gulfport website is all I know. Afterall, I'm very far away from the "crime scene" !
