To answer a few more of your questions:
I don't have shroud extensions on my 15 but it rights easily with two people, probably could do it with one if the wind was right.
It goes to weather very well, but you have to keep the leeward hull deep in the water. It may seem scary at first, but you will see that that is the way they like it and point very well when sailed this way. I know from sailing other brands of cats that that seems to be the last thing you want to do, (pitchpole) but just try it! Bill Roberts knew what he was doing when he designed these hulls.
I've found mine to be very well built and strong.
I put the mast up and down myself with little problem and am sure that you could figure out a way to rig it yourself.
They are fun , fast little boats!
