I'm just curious but my profession has tried to forbid the use of any of the social networking sites. Myspace, Facebook, etc. The reason given is that it is communication unable to be supervised and quite often it is used as a marketing tool. I have to have a different computer and a different email address entirely to participate in even this forum. Because I operate an office in my home as well they "suggest" no one in the family also have a facebook/myspace account.

You may have noticed that as I participate on Drill Baby Drill I will not bring my profession into the conversation. I'd like to many times but it is a violation and there are stories of problems arising from seemingly innocent conversations.

HOWEVER.....they have never said anything about looking at boobs .................... hmmmmmm.

My summer is mostly spoken for.

Anyone else have restrictions about the usage of Facebook and the like, professionally?
