I just found a "good" crosswind landing video.

As I described above, he's holding a pretty good crab into the wind (30 degrees or so) until he gets pretty low, then kicks the rudder to bring the nose around to align the airframe and wheels with the runway, then puts it down, nicely done.

This is what it is supposed to look like, and in a MD 11, it's not easy! Kudos to the KLM boys!
