There will also be a Hull Flying contest at Redfish reach on Saturday afternoon - once the boats are back. We will follow the same format as last year: A short course that has to be sailed on one hull without touching down. If you touch down - you are out. If you sail clean on one hull - you go back for the next round. This was a terrific spectator sport and lots of fun for the sailors last year. It was also surprisingly difficult - it only took 5 rounds to get our champion (Tim Boudreaux from Cat Alley).

So who will the 2011 Hull Flying Champion be? Will they come from TCDYC, 10 mile spot, Cat Alley or an out of towner?
