I have been on the fence about a new boat vs the daggerboard conversion to my 08 Infusion. If you had to do it again, would you get a new boat, or do the conversion? BTW....the 08 (your old boat), is in immaculate condition with new Glaser sails.
We usually get a new boat every couple of years instead of just getting new sails and to help put more boats in the class. Since you have new sails the only thing you would be gaining is the boards and new nonskid and a few other little things. I don't know what the board conversion cost, but you would just have to do the math to see if it is good for you. We have not had the boat in the water and it is not even put together all the way yet so others will have to comment on the sailing abilities.
