The art of climbing a rope with the navyseal-technique, I learned already 47 years ago in the dutch army on the officers-school. In fact it was part of the exercises you to had to perform (under a time limit) for your sport-medal.
So, nothing new here.
However it's a painfull memory because at that time (I was 20) I was even able to climb without using legs in a L position into a rope of 20 feet.
Nowadays I have to clamcleat all my sheets because I can't hold them for more then one minute!!!!!!!
