I spoke to Mike Worrell a couple days ago with regards to the past three weeks, his plans for next year etc. I was interested to know how he was going to gather the printed material for the 2002 race for us to use to obtain future sponsors. During this discussion he mentioned that Sports Illustrated is going to do an article with a number of photos. I don’t know if this is definite however it did sound promising.



As we all know the Worrell 1000 is a great event and we would obviously like to see it grow and be recognized on a broader spectrum. I will be keeping an eye out for any printed material I can find.
