I think I ought to get this out of the way now, so that know one will take it personally if I say it later on.
For NAMSA to grow, it will need strong leadership. The officers therefore should meet in executive session, closed to the general membership, and develope goals and a platform for growth. That doesn't mean they can't ask for approval from the membership at large. But, if we try to run this like a New England town meeting, we'll get bogged down in rhetoric.
I believe in "lead, follow or get out of the way". At this point we have good leadership, it is my intent to follow.
