Years ago I watched the movie "On The Beach" (1959, Gregory Peck & Ava Gardner). In the background of one scene there clearly are several catamarans hauled up on the beach. Pretty far back for cats, no? Anybody got any ideas what was going on in Australia in 1959 where it was filmed? I can't find the video for rent anywhere.

The book is excellent. No mention of cats, however.
