Barry, I think most new employees in a sailmaking business starts with finishing sails. Installing grommets, boltropes, fittings etc. so that's probably where you will see most problems.

I know from my literature that getting boltropes with consistent quality/properties was a big concern earlier when dacron was a new cloth.
