Hey Jake
It all goes with the hollywood image

the moviestardom on OLN to magazine covers , you have to watch out for the poperattci

I was thinking I,ve done six 1000 mile races and a few Tybee 500s , that is by my estimates some 84 times pushing off the beach somewhere along the Eastern seaboard and onto the Atlantic racing against some of the best catsailors in the world in the most grueling beachcat event in existance.
This is the time I get on the cover !!

As I recall we had a great days racing and although a slow start and wind dying at the finish we moved through the pack and finished a respectable 4th or 5th .
When kites attack {per cover pic} a quick pull on the sheet all the way in and back out usually corrects the problem , we were on our way seconds latter .
Thanks Rick and Mary for catsailor and all the wonderfull things you do , and evan the pics showing how not to do it, it is all part of the sailing experience.
Jake ,you,ve got some splaining to doooo !!
{kiddin as usual}
What did we say to Robert behind the camera ? we may have to wait until their excellent Tybee 500 movie is out this year to find out .
It was a great race , and again highly recomend the Tybee 500 to any capable and interested
