Posts: 902 Norman,OK | I am not sure about the 16 but I home built a righting pole for my Nacra 5.2 and I can right it at 160lbs. But in light wind it takes a while, but in heavy wind I have actually righted it without the pole and one time I was still in the water.

Posts: 902 Norman,OK | I don't have any already taken and the digital camera is with my dad in Alaska, but I can try and get some with a disposable sometime soon.
The carbon mast should work well, I used an old pole vault pole that had been broken.

I think Tback (only say him do it once) doubles a bag, fills it about 1/3 full and just rests it in his lap.
You should be able to reach them on the F16 forum.

Posts: 1,246 Orlando, FL | ATRS = Alabama Trash Righting System.
I carry two 33 gallon (extra heavy duty) trash bags in my tramp (one is a spare in case the first bursts or tears). If the wind is really blowing I don't need it... but lighter winds I can just lift the mast tip clear of the water but not right the boat...
... this is when the ATRS comes in handy (note author of this system is none other than tshan). I pull a bag out and while trapped using the righting line, I fill the bag with water (not too much or it will burst) and lift it onto my lap. The boat almost instantly comes up right--depending on weight of the skipper.
Double handed no ATRS system necessary.
