Pat, I'm sure you mean his personality.

It was alot of fun sailing with him - he's got a great attitude. It was also a ton-o-fun racing against Greg Thomas and Jeff Newsome and the other guys on 16s that weekend. The Christensens (all three) were there on F18s and so was Sparkhul and Myrter - can't wait to race those guys again! As a skipper this time!

Wife still has her eye on a house on Claremont, just a couple of blocks from the ramp. Too bad there's no on-the-beach storage there... or unattached trailer parking ANYwhere in LB. Unless a slot opens at the club, I'm going to be keeping the boat a loooooong way from the race area.

Hey John:

I see that you and your wife are hoping on getting a house on Claremont Ave. My I ask where? The reason is that my wife and I too looked down at Belmont Shore when we were looking to get out of California Heights and away from the airport noise. One of the things we noted was Parking and traffic are an issue if you are on the ocean side of 2nd Street. We did a little investigation and saw that not only are the weekends hectic, but the afternoon when coming home as well. I know that many of the homes have at least a one car garage, but you know as well as I what they end up being. One of the places we looked at was Belmont Heights - your just a few more blocks away and you'll get more house for the buck and is allot quieter.

FYI - yes, and you have a great wife that allows you to go sailing while she is house hunting - I should have the guts to even ask.

Good Luck
