We need the telescoping spars like in Waterworld. That would be slick, and heavy, and prone to failure. But still cool!

What do you use it for? (According to Wikipedia, it is popular for bondage SM sex. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)

But, seriously, I had never heard of it before.

Gaff tape is primarily used the the Movie, Theatre, Live entertainment, and Pro-Photo industries. It is kind of like duct tape for backstage use - used on everything for every purpose. It is most commonly black, but comes in all colors and has a white adhesive. Back in school we'd say that Gaff tape is like the force, "Has a light side, dark side, and holds the universe together..."

The latest Hobie catalog offers a Rear Mast Stand which bolts to the rear cross bar of the trailer and supports the mast above the boat's rear cross bar. MSRP $129.95
