I talked to Marstrom today.

Pretty good start but the downwind speed was bad, they had problems with the F18 in that wind. Either something wrong with the spi or just too little time on the water this year. The passage through the channel was tricky as usual and they ran aground and chipped the centerboard. After everything was sorted out after the incident they had an excellent upwind just as the timings indicate. They where double trapezing most of the time.

They where on third place for a while but they couldn't match eagle on the beam reach, you need a jib for a light wind beam reach.
