Yep, H20 Miracle with H18M wings. Fairly simple mod; works great. 20 doesn't hold up as well as the 18 to lots of hull-on-sand beach landings and walking on the decks, but it ain't exactly fragile either, and it still hauls the mail (and five adults).

Hey, how is the upgraded TheMightyHobie18 doing compared to the F-18s and F-16s? It's been a while since we got a report on your project, so it would be fun to hear how it's going.
I am not a lake sailor and the light shifty winds I seem to always encounter at races is difficult for me. The boat goes to weather well. I still need to work on mast prebend as the main tends to be disturbed low and windward, ie lower windward tell-tell will not fly back. I recently broke my endpole system and switched to a midpole. I purchased another used spin but it is only 19m and too full to run hot, does have 3 patches however. My other chute has 2 patches and I haven't checked yet to see if it will snuff without a third patch. The jib system works great, very pleased with that addition. It would be great to attend an event with 10-15kts wind and really test it out but that hasn't occured yet. In the ocean against other 18's it is superior, upwind in light stuff against 18's it is slightly faster. The lift F18's experience from the daggers is very noticable and my boat doesn't lift in that manner. I need to get serious about tuning the boat but I have too many other interests currently. I left the race a day early this weekend to compete in a mt. bike race, too many hobbies and too little time. I would say overall I'm very pleased with the boat!!
I know it's nothing extraordinary, just a stock Wave, but I've sure had fun with it this summer. Because it's so simple to rig and go, I've spent more time on the water this year than anyone else in the sailing club, and more than I did in the 10 years of (previous) Interlake ownership combined. And my wife likes it better because she can be a passenger rather than a crew!

From what I've read, it probably works better than a Hobie factory jib! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> It's a fine tell-tale, but an even better attention getter. This is heavily Indiana University territory, so a burgee from the arch-rival Purdue University is what people notice more than the boat.
