Andy and I should finally have our new N20 by then. Should be 4 or 5 N20's, and I thought I heard there might be an F-16 fleet headed over. Bound to be just about everything else from hobie 16's up to a Supercat 22.

Great venue - home made sticky buns, cold beer and a live band both nights under the grass hut bar, sugar white sand and emerald green water, sea breeze at 11:30 guaranteed! Wouldn't miss it. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

4 F16s commited so far. 3 from FL and 1 from AL. All coming early for some fun before the regatta starts.

Usually a good fleet of tri's, as well.

My wife and I are coming. Nacra 6.0 Express. Will be second race with the boat, and wife's first cat race. Looking forward to it.

Yes, got the new main. Nice. Still working on Spinnakers, one sail ata time ya know. Found a used I-20 chute taht is beat up, and way to small for the boat, but it does a great jobn training. Hope to see ya there Patrick.

DoubleT, TikiPete and tback (all F16's) from Central Florida heading that way.

Will we be able to setup boats at Juana's early (say Weds) and leave them there until Sunday?

PTP - any insight? I bet it would be cool with the propietors, as long as you buy a few beverages and MREs. I think it is more important to keep the parking lot clear.

The best bet is to email Juana and they'll let you know. It is VERY laid back, so I'd be surprised - but maybe Navarre has lawyers now......

I don't think there would be any problem with that at all. Bring some good anchors though (for your boat and a few of the H16s sitting ungrounded on the beach!). I had my 6.0 on the beach there off and on for long stretches and no one ever seemed to care. They won't mind provided you aren't in the spaces where the jet skis launch out of. There will also be a place to keep the boats south west of Juanas on the beach (maybe 100 yds from Juanas). Might be a problem with trailer storage because there are signs all over the place about how you can't park your trailer there overnight. I don't care if you stack em at my place.. but you could also park them on the side of the road (maybe down far enough so a car could still park on the side of the road).

Has anyone made this drive from the St. Pete area? I have two choices. Through Tallahassee, mainly interstate, or southerly using county roads.

I'd prefer the southern route if traffic is tolerable.

Any advice?

I've always stuck to the interstate because I am usually on a time frame and in a hurry. I bet the county roads offer some good scenery, though.

I'm gonna give it an entire day each way. I'm always looking for some nice little town to retire to.

contacted Juana's about early boat setup and trailer parking. Kevin said it wouldn't be a problem .. be sure to have tie-downs in case of a storm

Trailer Parking: Use the big trailer parking lot south of Juanas, over towards the water tower would be best for a few days.

Bob, kick Pete in the nuts for me would ya. Not for anything he's done lately, but for what he will do... he just can't stop himself.
