Posts: 120 Finland | At least few strip planked kayak plans that I have seen contained 160 g/m² glass on both sides. Why not strip plank with foam? With some heating the foam strips could be bigger than wood ones thus saving lot of time. Of course foam is not as "cool" material than wood <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />.
