As a non-F16 sailor (Spitfire, Shadow), I'd like to contribute to this debate. I would never have been aware of, or interested in, this class if it were not for this forum.

Its existance and openness has led me twice to consider buying into the class. If you were hidden away somewhere 'secure', you would be absent from my sailing scene (I haven't even seen an F16 in the flesh).

My advice: Keep it open and keep it sensible - you've almost lost the plot in this debate.

PS - one of the major reasons I still look in here is due to the proximity to the Open forum, AND because both the Shadow and Spitfire forums are hidden away on their own sites. Need I say more?
