As little as 400 years ago, the church was attempting to eradicate the drunken, Saturnalian celebrations. In Colonial America, the Puritans of New England disapproved of Christmas. Krantz already says he's converting the F18 over to it. JW put it on his capricorn. I'd say it'll work great. Anything it better than the ridiculous sheeting angle that the crew has to deal with at the moment.

Are you sheeting from the tramp or the boom? Didn't you just order a new tramp, and if you did, did you make concessions to mount the block on the tramp? One more annoying question, are you going to use the cleat? I know that Goodall and JW did not use a cleat on the Capricorn, which eliminated the issues of cleating angles between the skipper and crew. . .

Had boom sheeting on my A and hated it. Moved the boom too much when sheeting. But it wasn't that fancy so ,yeah get the bugs worked out.

Sheeing from the boom. The system will be able to either be sheeted from the boom or from the back where you normally sheet it.

And yes the cleat will be there.

I don't like the tramp sheeting. If you have fancy, low stretch line, you're going to lose all that when you attach it on a nice stretchy tramp.

I really want to sell my GoPro3 but am not sure what I want to get in return.
The new GoPro Wide or one of the new small HD (720p) cameras like the Flip MinoHD or the Kodak Zi6.
The Kodak has the best video quality but doesn't have a waterproof case.

Good thing about the GoPro units is that they can take a real beating ( Shot this a few days ago from the kite).

I've already got a Foretrex.... but i'm wondering what other GPS I should get... I honestly have no idea on the differences between the different models.

For a handheld, my GPSMAP 76 has worked very well. I bet its dirt cheap these days.

I also have a Map76 and have been very pleased. I don't use it on my cat but it has a lot of off shore miles in keel boats. It has been beaten, drowned, and severely neglected but it still works great.
