Hope all you new Viper guys are planning on the Glogal Challange at GYC in Novemeber.....

Take this as a plug for you foreign guys also. We had almost 20 boats at last years F16/A event. Quite a few new ones made since then and some very good tallent on tap to participate. It promises to be a great event. GYC always does up a good event.

Also Apr18/19 is the GYC invite which would be a good time to line everyone up too.

Matt

Hi Matt - I'll be there in April for sure. It will be nice to catch up and check out the new design.

The GC is a little more time away and a little more money - but I am going to try to make it. I cannot really plan past a few months out anyway.

I may have a Viper in the drvieway now, but the important thing is - it is a F16!!!

Vipers made an excellent showing yesterday at GYC. Mike Borden nearly won his very first outing! He finished at the long end of the line and Matt and Zach Lynch(Viper) nipped him right at the finish! I didn't spend a lot of time looking at the results but I believe Matt and Zach were top F16

Some personal(very personal blush) observations: The three points of a spinnaker are specific to the geometry of the boat, once they are attached appropriately the sail sets much better! Over all performance is enhanced by not getting hung up on the marks.

Operator error aside, my new suit of Goodall sails is wonderful! If you're considering new sails, you need to look at Goodall very closely.
