Thanks guys:

I have 29 yrs under my belt and Ashleigh has 8. New girl friend has none. I cut my teeth a little with the small chute on the Mystere 4.3. And yes Timbo I like the fact I can race one up by myself as I did on the Hobie 17. I just have to get out of Hobie only land here by Dallas. Working to get to Tampa. OH and the I17 can't be raced two up can it?

Doug

Doug if you are coming to Tampa you have three choices. An F16, F18 which is pretty good at the 360lbs combined weight, but limited to sailing two up and an A cat.

I am talking about sailing out of GYC which in the Tampa bay area we are the most affordable with mast up storage. We race twice a month with a chance of upping that to three if you decide to race at BCYC which they are always inviting us, and on work days a few of us go out.

Havent you had this conversation before though? Or am I having a DEJA-VU?

Doug,

While you're stuck in Hobie la-la land, you may as well find yourself a Hobie 20 and roll with it. Big fleets and about as fast as you can get without a chute. Also, of the sloop rigged boats, it's the "busiest" front end a crew will ever see.

The H20 good times. Make sure your crew doesn't forget their snorkel on those days with a breeze!

Guys:

Yea I will go to GYC when I do get to Tampa. I watch the forums on you guys. Yea think I may just try to crew this season on a H-20. I depend how the sales go with the marketing company, although this http://www.thebeachcats.com/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/1602/cat/1 is a good buy I think on a local one if it does?
