Haven't heard that track in years after I scratched my GB&U album.

Colin, I really hate to ask, BUT how at approx 3:36 did you guys go from flying a hull to capsized on the other side??? A blown tack, but maybe because you were TOO aggressive on the Roll Tack Stuff??? All Joking aside, can anyone tell me what went wrong??? I'm always willing to TRY To Learn from others mistakes (But usually, I have to repeat them a few dozen times myself)!

Note the guys on the spi pole at the end !

In this video let the scenery sink in. It is a quiet video but the seastate is enormous. Note that this ORMA tri is doublehanded ! No other crew then Alain and Michel. After 4:20 this video is also a good example of the right music that isn't some kind of power rock (as typical with sailind videos)

The part from 4:20 to the end is just a beautiful piece of video. And the song Text fits really well at times. Starts out with\

Welcome to your life !
There's no turning back

...

Help me make the most of
freedom and of pleasure !

And the big tri is going full on lifted to it leeward hull splashing over big waves.

Brilliant!

Enjoy !

Very nice! Looks to be running 8 - 15 ft. and they are at times flying from top to top -- awesome!

that terrible power rock for sailing
foolish attempt to raise viewers heart rate to similar level as sailors in video

another example here eek

hit the HD button for high definition 1280 wide

http://vimeo.com/5258062

the optio w60 can film at 1280 wide but the frame rate drops to 15 frames per second which seems too jerky for a helmet cam

so probably will get better videos for computer viewing by dropping to 640 wide with 30 frames per second

It is part of the soundtrack of "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" from Sergio Leone. The title of the song is "The Ecstasy of Gold".

We were flying the chute and stuffed. I lost my hold in the foot strap and became seperated from the boat. I actually pulled it over on top of me as I was shriping.

And here the video of a modern beach catamaran pitchpole as filmed from the mast top.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2oTWPvkFgs&feature=related

Notice the nice butt slide that the crew makes at the start of the pitchpole.

You're getting good, Erice.

And I can't get the music out of my head...

The other day at work, we were arguing about some over-involved project that I thought was a waste of time and everyone else didn't. At the end, I threw up my hands and said:

Look, man is born, man lives, man dies. And all is vanity.

All I needed was the beat of the music...

Yeah, but have you ever checked out what kind of air time it takes to keep your certificates valid? You wouldn't have much time left for sailing.
