show me any other movie/television series with hot babes in tight outfits (7 of 9 - from the "discovery" off-shoot(?), Counselor Troy, Uhura (original series AND recent movie), Kirk's "assistant" (the blonde lady with the clipboard), the security lady in Next Generation.... Heck, even the alien babes are 'stacked' in the future (the Green alien babe, the Klingon women-folk, some of the Romulans) ... Let's hear it for the FUTURE! smile

No, I'd think he was a fag if he spouted off about some of those medievil shows (referencing specifically that one "Conan" rip-off in the 80's, although Xena Warrior Princess had potential)

FAIL! That's Majel Barrett - who eventually married Gene Roddenberry.

The reference should be to Yeoman Janice Rand:

Actress: Grace Lee Whitney, disappeared from the series due to drug / alcohol issues.

HEY! Anyone would have drug and alcohol problems if they had to wear that wig. At least she wore a proper miny dress.

Matt Bounds. I was starting to lose confidence in you, but you've restored my faith with the ultimate in nerdism, by correcting that guy about the Yoeman Rand vs. Christine Chapel. Bravo! I was itching to say something but didn't want to show the world what appearantly Karl already knows.
John, are you going to go there?

Cristine Chapel was the assistant to Dr. Lenard (Bones) McCoy.
However, she constantly had the hots for Spock.

I considered creating an alias to correct this error.
Especially after the underoo's remark

I go away for work for a couple of days .... and what do I find but I'm blamed for something when I wasn't even there .....

That's why I spell my name "MURPHEY" .... it's the good side of the family .....when it's spelled "MURPHY" ... that's the touble-making side. HAHAHA ......

I forgot about Baywatch. Did they may 5 or 6 movies from that TV show yet?

I believe that Mrs. Roddenbury (or her voice) has been in every iteration of Star Trek since, correct? Isn't she the computer voice on Next Generation? Where was she in Deep Space 9? And is she anywhere on the New Star Trek movie?

I used to think I was a trek-nerd, but clearly I am outclassed here.... Resistance is futile

Fewer than 10 days before her death, on December 9, 2008, Roddenberry Productions announced that she would be providing the voice of the ship's computer once again, this time for the 2009 motion picture relaunch of Star Trek.[1][6] Sean Rossall, a Roddenberry family spokesman, stated that she had already completed the voiceover work, approximately December 4, 2008.[1] The film is dedicated to her as well as Gene.

PS i was a trekie too (when i was 5) smile

It's hard to fault a woman who likes to spend a lot of time naked. Except maybe Kathy Bates.
