Posts: 129 Austin, TX | So I guess we'll have to bring some chickens to pay for any doctor visits while there... I'm not worried.

Posts: 12,310 South Carolina | I just found this discussion group. I'm wondering why this topic isn't listed under 'Distance Races' forum? It might get more attention there (since it's been over 5 weeks since the previous post). When was the last post in the distance racing forum?

Posts: 5,590 Naples, FL | Shannon ... unless i am "missing the boat" here... this race is not happening. You are, Andrew. The race has changed slightly. The course is now only one way (northbound) and open to all residents of our southern neighbor. All classes of boats are eligible, and start/finish times are not recorded. Nighttime launches are typical PRO is unofficial, but I believe they will be using boats with Orange/White stripes and a logo. There may even be a few Helicopters available. No trophies will be awarded, but you will know who the "winners" are. They have the dry feet.

Unregistered | And you got this info where? Don't spread rumors if you don't know the facts. I would hardly say i am "spreading rumors". I even disclaimed it with "unless i am missing the boat . . ." Does not the post from flumpmaster (and article link) not state this was canceled?
