Posts: 3,116 Annapolis, MD | But that's no fun!.... there just has to be a super version of one of those two boats at least..
Perhaps... it's an all carbon boat with curved dagger boards that is known as the SUPER VIPER that is much talked about.
he he....

Popcorn anyone? No Nacra F-20s registered, so maybe that's what it is. That's what it's for.

Posts: 1,203 uk | They are pretty casual about regestration, especially if you are getting there during the week for the Dutch Open.
there will be plenty of F20s - its what the boat was designed for!
#2 son will be there on the SL16. Wish I could offer some reports back, but he is rubbish at using his phone once at an event - ask his Mum!

Posts: 164 fort Myers, FL | If memory serves me, there were well over 800 boats in the Round Texels of the mid 80's....Interesting starts, you can learn a whole new language! Participation over the last few years has been in the upper 500s/low 600s.

Your namesake is the only person to have done all the round texel races to date.
He will be sailing a Nacra F20 this time

Posts: 164 fort Myers, FL | I stand corrected (edit made)! We are actually from the same home town, and sailed at the same club way back then (with him sailing circles around us!)....haven't seen him in a long time, but looks like he is still going strong! The new F20 should be fun to watch!
