Since I just paid, I feel the need to be righteous and indignant.

There's only three, (3), boats verified for Racine. Hurry up folks, and save that hundred bucks!

There is a hugely talented F18 fleet already registered. Heimskirk/Howe registered yesterday. If 2B registers, I'll be tempted to forego the F16 racing and sail over just to watch.

What are the rules of etiquette that aply to such a situation? Spectator boats at sailing regattas.

I sure hope someone is going to get this on video it could be epic.

For anyone still considering attending, this regatta is packed with a lot of value...and lots of fun.

What do I get for my RCC registration fee?

•Starting Clinic from Robbie Daniels of Red Gear Racing prior to event
•Insulated Harken mug that gets you free beer for the week with purchase of two $20 raffle tickets
•Long Sleeve Rash Guard w/Event Graphics ($50 value)
•Goodie bag with giveaways and special offers provided by event sponsors
•Your choice of a print (8 x 10 or 5 x 7) of a professional photo taken of your boat racing (shot from helicopter or photo boat)
•“No Excuses Yet” Welcome Party (w/finger food) sponsored by Nacra
•“Raingutter Regatta” sponsored by Harken; pair up with kid, assemble a kit boat, match race for prizes
•“Grillin’ n Chillin Barbie” Party (cookout food) sponsored by AHPC
•“How’d They Do That Hot Shots Seminar” sponsored by Hobie Cat, moderated by professional cat sailor, Mischa Heemskerk, and featuring regatta leaders after two days of racing
•“Black Light Magic Marker Party” sponsored by Magic Marine (meal provided). Party featuring the wildly popular dance band, “The Eddie Butts Band”
•“Rock Star Raffle and Live Auction” (full banquet food). Great odds to win thousands of dollars of sailing gear and other merchandise; gamble to trade up. Live Auction for select high value items.
•“RCC Wrap-up and Awards Presentation” sponsor TBD.
•Five spectacular days of racing on the big water of Lake Michigan.
•Two additional days of racing the weekend prior (one-day or two-day participation fee required) to get warmed up for the big event.
•Opportunity to purchase really cool Racine Catamaran Championships sportswear.
•Major regret if I miss this EPIC event!

Note: Register before July 11 and avoid the $100 late registration fee!

bump.

I've been asked, again, to make sure the word gets out to all F16 sailors.

Sounds like it will be quite a party. See you there!

Shouldn't we also mention that Red gear racing offers a Viper Club to a youth team free of charge for this event ?

Well, I was hoping they would, but they normally handle their business by word of mouth. I expect they will be well represented.

Just sailed Lake Michigan all day yesterday. Nice breeze, mid 80's beautiful panarama of the shoreline, a little chop but not too bad. Nothing like a couple mile spi runs...

Wasn't there seven boats registered? What happened to the 7th? I'm only seeing six now.

Wasn't there somebody from the east coast signed up?

We had a great time! CRAW definitely has it together!

Many thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors. Particular thanks to Racine Yacht Club and to Hobie and Nacra for letting us join their party.

If you ever have a chance to sail at Racine, do it!

CRAW arranged for a tracking function which you can view. We only had one f16 race recorded and that was in fog, but you can see the f18s as well.
