Sail Sand Point in Seattle has donated two Hobie 16's to Fun to Sail in Idaho. They will be fitted with Trapseats and used in their program for sailors with disabilites including wounded warriors, and Paralysed Vets of America.

I plan to hand one cat down to her and sell the other next spring.Funny you should ask.runescape gold
I just finished the last bit of fiberglass work on a pair of Hobie 16's that my daughter and I have rs gold been restoring for quite some time. I hope to get her on the water before the Ohio summer fades and the snow plows ruin the roads again.

Called a guy to buy his N5.0, and talked him into keeping it. I would rather have another sailor on the water than have another boat. I'm keeping in touch with him to make sure he makes it to the lake with myself or the local fleet. One at a time!

Jeez. I just came from the "Drill, baby,..." posts. I haven't logged onto catsailor.com in years. So, I jumped off those old farts in that thread and into this one which sounded helpful, "What have you done for sailing today?" and the first thing I see is,

Well, I was going to send my nephew a few links from this forum. Nevermind. Rick and Mary, you really need to cleanup this act and thin the herd.

What have I done? Taken countless friends who had never seen a catamaran before out for rides. One bought a Stampede 20 the other just picked up a starter Prindle 16 today.

So yea - take your friends sailing. Do what you can to promote the sport you love.

I haven't checked this thread for a while, and I'm glad that it's still going. Good for everyone for giving their time and hard-earned $$ for the benefit of sailing! Onya!

I taught twelve kids and their teacher from a local school how to sail last week. It was a four day class. The teacher liked it so much she's going to join our YC.

Working with some college kids, getting them familiar with cats.

I'm learning from them so I'm probably getting more than I'm giving.
