After watching Lionel Messi play, I realize I need to sail harder.

Ducks' feet fall into that category. Barbequed chicken feet are crunchy. Beware the tiny "spare ribs". They aren't pork, and they certainly aren't beef. | | | Re: 2010 Hobie 16 Worlds in China

Posts: 1,187 38.912, -95.37 | GO CHRIS!!! Bradshaw and Kathy Ward (Women). Chris has been sailing very well this year, she's fast and started training early in the season with Ken Hilk. Here they're fast too (Open). (Note: Chris is a member of our fleet and we're proud to have her there!)

Posts: 699 SE Pa. or Chesapeak Bay | Greg,
The H16 is raced w/ alot of mast-rake to "load up" the rudders since the boat has no daggerboards.
How do you set the mast-rake???? With the jib halyard.
When the mast is raised on a H16 the mast is "over raked" ... the main is hoisted and then the jib ... next the jib halyard is tensioned pulling the mast up-right reducing the mast-rake .... but usually set so that when the mainsheet is sheeted in tight, that the mainsheet stack is "block to block" ....
Totally different proceedure and set-up from your ol' P19 .... or that new F16 you have .....
I have watched many of the Div11 H16 racers use this proceedure .... when I'm rigging my TheMightyHobie18 next to them at Hobie Points Regattas.
