RULES
The regatta will be governed by the “rules” as defined by the current Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the prescriptions of US SAILING, the rules of the Sunfish class, and by the Sailing Instructions.
CLASSES
Sunfish and Open Catamaran
ELIGIBILITY
All sailors must be at least 16 years of age by December 31, 2010.
APPLICATION
At Registration, participants must submit a completed Registration Form, Release Form and the entry fee. p
FEES
Sunfish: $30.00 per person; $5.00 discount to USSCA members
Catamarans: $50.00 for Skipper and Crew, $30.00 for Solo sailors.
Fees include the Race, Regatta T-shirt, Continental Breakfast, Beverages, Post-Race Lunch and Awards.

0900-1030 Registration & Breakfast
1030 Skippers Meeting–Sunfish
1100 Skippers Meeting –Catamarans
1130 Start - Sunfish Class
1200 Start - Catamaran Class
SAILING ISTRUCTIONS
Will be available at Registration.
BOATS AND EQUIPMENT
Competitors will be responsible for their boats being in compliance with class rules.
AWARDS
SUNFISH: Individual awards will be presented to the top five finishers, plus names will be inscribed on the following Perpetual Plaques maintained at Southold Yacht Club:
WBAZ –FM Plaque – Race Winner
Peggy Wagner Memorial Plaque - First Female Finisher
Heinl-Lyman Octogenarian Plaque - Oldest Competitor and first Master 50+ to finish
CATAMARANS: Individual awards will be presented to the skippers and crews of the First and Second place boats to finish. Consideration may be given to more than one Division depending upon the number of entries. Portsmouth handicap numbers will be used to determine the order of finish.
SAFETY
US Coast Guard approved PFDs must be worn by all sailors while on the water. Violators will be disqualified.
