"The board of Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation voted unanimously on Tuesday to approve a set of proposed rules intended to create an orderly process to unwind large financial institutions. The rules outline how creditors can file a claim and how those claims will be addressed, hopefully bringing some clarity to a previously murky situation.

You are right....it is not my site, I was mearly suggesting that yet another non-sailing related thread was not needed and this post could have gone elsewhere. I guess I will add this thread to the list of others that I ignore.

I still think that a forum for 'non sailing' threads would be great on this site. Rick has heard this before, and I respect that.

That would likely generate more traffic without annoying the "sailing only" crowd.

I generally only post threads and a quick description so that people can decide whether or not they want to read it. I have enough feed back to believe there is an interest.
