Long Beach, California | Agree that sometimes the signal gets spotty, but in the two cases I cited, there seemed to be good signal and a constant track throughout a 360 turn... Nigel had come in overstood on port, so likely a close encounter in the zone. Of course, not being there, that's just a guess. ;-)

| Don't know about that. Merrick was invisible until he showed up right at the finish (near the front of the fleet, so I doubt he capsized). Boats too fast for the system?  Interesting that they took the start mark behind the signal boat during the race. Mike | | | Re: F18 North Americans

| Todd beat Ding (by one boat). This seems to be a pattern? I don't know that I'd call the wind "sporty" yet. Seems to be averaging in the high teens, but that's in MPH. Gusts don't seem to be over 20 knots. Of course, I sail a Hobie Wave... Mike | | | Re: F18 North Americans
