What are the dates for steeplechase this year? The catsailor schedule has dec 11-12 which is a Sunday Monday and doesn't sound right.

I'm sure it's an oversight and the dates are Dec 10 & 11. Now the question that we wrestle with every year, where are we staging? Gilberts? They seem to be the last folks friendly to our cause in the Keys, except for Barb and Chip of course.

I vote Gilberts. Mary can we confirm this?

Ding owes me 3 drinks at the Tiki Bar from last year.

How do you figure that? I beat him at Tradewinds, Charlotte Harbor, and Spring Fever. He did get me at Hyannis though.

But he told me he was coming to the bar and then never showed the only night we got drunk while in Hyannis, 2 nights before racing started, so he owes me drinks big time. I didn't get to have a single drink with him in Hyannis!

Does anyone have a picture of the course. I've tried looking up the course by the point names on a chart but still a little vague.

Day 1 - North from Jewfish creek channel, under Card sound bridge, east out Angelfish creek, south to Lower Matacumbe Key.

Day two is under Channel 5 bridge and north to Blackwater Sound (any which way you like).

Is there not a mark at the hotel beach on day 2 anymore?...I think just before Tarpon basin?

No Mark. Caribbean Watersport used to sponsor the trophies, but stopped paying for them, so no money, no mark.
Mary is still recovering from our trip and in pretty bad shape. As soon as she is able she will check with Gilberts. Already know what the Crib will say.

And screw you ding... Sorry if the logistics of making the trip to the keys got in the way of me finishing the race. Ill finish this year if you pay if I miss my flight because I have to wait for slower boats that i busted my butt to get to fl to increase the numbers in your weak butt area, why haven't you built the f18 fleet down there. Is it because your intimidates by the f16 sailors? You still owe me a drink for being lame at north Americans.

Ricky, I get a feeling from your post that you might be upset with me. Are you upset with me? It's hard to tell because you're so angry so much of the time and I know it couldn't have been something I said, I'm one of the nicest people I know.
