Posts: 932 Solomon's Island, MD | Had the opportunity to sail one Friday down in Sarasota. Matt and Gina have a winner on their hands, that is for sure! Brief thoughts:
1) Build quality is excellent on the hulls and extrusions. 2) Upwind the boat tracks like it is on rails and is definitely more powered up than the Mk. 1 Infusion w/ 08' sails. I credit that 50/50 on the mast/Glaser 12' sails and the super high AR boards. 3) Downwind the boat is fast and has even more volume forward than the Infusion. I think I was the first person in the foot straps on this particular boat but we were playing in 3-4' waves in the Gulf with the boards completely up. I won't say it's faster than the Infusion with 2-boat testing but certainly not slower and possibly more forgiving. 4) Rigging setup is very complete and works perfectly. Really like the removable downhaul system for de-rigging.
If you're considering a new boat and in the U.S I would definitely put this at the top of the list as a fast, top-quality boat with great parts support.

One thing I noticed immediately - I was standing in a totally different place than any other boat I've raced. Matt really got innovative on moving the volume around. Hat's off for an exceptional design.

After watching Lionel Messi play, I realize I need to sail harder.
