Posts: 12,310 South Carolina | Will this technology reach the weekend warrior?...or should I say "when". It's neat but I have to admit that I'm not overly excited about doing it.

I get a little tingle in my private parts watching that video, (which I'm up to five today). Its only a matter of time in my opinion, this stuff is going to eventually reach the average hack. Doesn't appear that the boards are any different, just the rudders?
I'm boatless.

I was told that all that was needed to make it fly were rudder elevators. Everything else could remain the same. | | | Re: Whoa

I'm betting that's a bit of a stretch...Not only are they compound curved daggerboards in that video but the trunks have also been moved forward (they're right behind the front beam presumably to help balance out the boat when on foils).
