True, but this is the first time I've ever worried about my fellow citizen reacting to the government in a way that would threaten my life.

Not because of believing the media nonsense myself, but because of what others (on both sides) are foolish enough to believe.

A few days before Christmas, I was getting into my truck after a late night of shopping, when two people walked out of the store, and started screaming "Who voted for Trump?" and "Because you're going to get SHOT!"

Yes, it is. That was at a major mall, where I've shopped for nearly 30 years.

Contrast that with a co-worker of mine who is ready to lead the next revolution and "take the country back" from those who would try to control assault weapons, claiming that his Marine Corps oath requires him to do so.

Good times...

So, if I sound irritated by the extreme sides voiced here, now you know why.
