Ya Darryl, I agree, ban bamboo...The really rich guys will buy the select grade that the rest of us can't afford and have an unfair advantage. The aluminum and carbon mast manufactures will go out of business because everyone will want a bamboo mast if a couple of hot sailors started winning with it...and then there is the whole shipping container issue. Better ban it now before the whole idea gets out of control. Before you know it they will want to make fixed beams out of it too...
