about the color difference on the deck of the yak, some idiot forgot to make sure the reflection of the wood was the same on both pieces before he glued it. This defect can mostly be hidden by paddling real hard when on the water keeping the boat moving as much as possible The trailer is a duel function one, I will need to think of a way to load both my yaks and catamaran at the same time. Some time ago I remember seeing such a thing on the www.thebeachcats.com but can't find the pictures now.
Yes it is a rotating mast, when I contacted Sailspar he said he had made a mast for the Q16 before and there was no need to send him any details about the mast. It turned out very nice, they did a good job on the mast.

Maybe you saw my catamaran/kayaks photos on thebeachcats.com.

The link to the page is here

I've made two trips from Ohio to the Florida Keys with it and it works great.

That looks like a good system for traveling long distance. Only problem for me would be that I don't always want to take my cat along when yaking is all I want to do. I also made a sailtube similar to yours(thebeachcats.com is a great place to "borrow" ideas from). The pictures I remember seing at the time had some sort of rack bolted to the trailer, wish I had saved the pictures now
Maybe it's possible to mount some sort of cradle to it and strap the yaks to the tube. I ended up making the doors for my sailtube twice because the stainless steel straps had distorted the shape of the tube...ah well part of the learning curve I suppose
Thanks for posting the link btw
