Total is the 12th july 2006 and 5 years ago this F16 forum started in earnest.
Since then we clocked :
9337 postings grouped into 957 threads.
Only 2 weeks ago we had
9007 postings in 937 threads
So in the final 2 weeks we just added another 330 posts ! Or over 23 posts a day !
Not many sailing forums are THAT active !
It also moves our averages up a bit
On 26 june we had :
daily postings = 4.98 per day
weekly postings = 34.91 per week
yearly postings = 1815 per year
Now we clock
daily postings = 5.12 per day
weekly postings = 35.91 per week
yearly postings = 1867 per year
Figures to be proud off I say. Afterall 5 years and 3 months ago there wasn't even an F16 class and the idea to start one had yet to be born. We are also no close to 150 F16 boats in the world (not all class members) and that excludes the Australian Taipan 4.9's and the Spitfires. If we include those the number will be at least 3 times as high.
Growth of 150/5 = 30 boats a year is modest by good considering that we started from nothing. It takes time to establish a class.
