Ad Performance Analysis:
Suppose you are already running an ad with us and would
like to see if a new and different ad would do better. If you want to
check the effectiveness of a new ad, our system offers a great way to
do so. Make up your new ad and submit it to us. We will place the new
ad in the system. Then you can check to see if the new ad gets more click-thru
traffic or less than your old ad.
Our advertisers are issued a User Name and Password
so that you can visit anytime to find out your adbanner's stats --
- How Many Views (Gives you the number of times
your ad was actually seen)
- How Many Click-Thrus (Tells you how many actually
went to your website)
- Percentage of Click-Thrus (Gives the percentage
of viewers to clickers -- good way to check how well your ad was designed)
A common medium for advertising on the Internet
is the use of banner ads. This form of advertisement often combines
animation, sophisticated graphics, and even audio to endorse product
information. Currently the most extensively used measurement tool
for ad effectiveness is click-through rate. This rate is derived
by dividing the number of times an ad is clicked by the total number
of times the ad appears.
However, research by AdKnowledge reports that online ads drive customers
to purchase or register at advertisers sites even without
clicking on an ad. The potential of banner ads has yet to be fully
realized; the current study is an attempt to better understand ad
effectiveness by investigating user awareness rather than click-through
rate.

You should have an Ad Banner. a Web Page
and an Address (URL) .
Ad Banners
An Ad Banner is a small, but attractive ad that
will fit on our Web Site. And, like normal hard-copy magazine ads, it
should be attractive and create interest. If not, no one will hit or
click on the ad banner. You can make the ad banner yourself, or we can
recommend someone that is very good at it.
Adbanner Size: no more than 460w x 55h pixels
and we recommend less than 20K in size. Animated GIFs are fine, recommended
no more than 4 cells. All banners must be in either GIF or JPEG format.
Sending your Adbanner: Send Site-Ready banner in GIF
or JPEG format. Preferred delivery method is e-mail attachments

(but be sure to refer to the attachment in the body of the e-mail -

Web Page
A Web Page is not required, but highly recommended.
You do not want the person clicking on your ad to merely give them
your street address, telephone, or whatever. Remember, they clicked
on your ad to get information about you and your product and/or services.
If you don't have a web page, we can recommend
someone, or you can design a page on your own.
