Hopefully tomorrow the wind will settle down a bit. The viper was smoking both up and downwind. Robbie had that boat pointing higher and faster than everyone else. Obviously the skipper Robbie Daniels has lots to do with it. I am sure if he were on a sunfish he would have spanked all of us. Good showing though nonetheless.
The winds were a steady 18 and gusts were very violent and extreme. We capsized three times in our last race (2nd race for the first day) and we broke our rudder arm cross bar. The boat is already repaired thanks to Timbo for lending us his and we will sail again tomorrow.
Excellent showing for the F16. At one point I counted 12 F16 on the water and 14 were registered. Hopefully tomorrow the winds drops a little bit and the sailing conditions are not so much survivor sailing, but enjoyable-power-the-boat up sailing.
