Hey Robert we were thinking of you...Daddio and the Orange 27 had a good dog fight going almost all the way to the finish. We got through the Shands just ahead and that made the difference. We got the wind on the other side and we were able to gap Daddio enough to stay ahead. They did a great job though. It was a real long and tuff day in the light air at the back of the fleet. The Roberts family did very well at the start. He recut his reacher to what looked like just a big jib. Very flat and he could point with it. We had him covered into the first turn with him stuck on the West side of River looking like he might stay there all day. Then the wind filled in over there and he sailed all the way around us and that was the last we saw of him. He made one good tack in the last finger of air to come our way and it was game over for us. We sat for almost 2 hours trying to get ahead of a crab trap. Anyway, hopefully you can make the race next year and keep that sand out of your shoes.
