I'm strongly considering purchasing a catamaran in Nashville, TN. I live in Salt Lake City, UT.

It's a 16', 1991 prindle cat. Probably worth about $1500. If I drove out myself and picked it up, it would cost me about $350. If I can get someone to ship for less than that, I'll do it.

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions? Someplace to look for inexpensive shipping options, or perhaps an exchange forum for people driving cross-country with tow capacity to spare?
