My son started sailing with me at about 8 or so. He's 13 now and will pass up most anything to go sail. My middle girl (10) is getting to the point where she'll want to go more and my youngest (8) well... its got to be blowing or she's bored! Of course they (we)all like it better blowing than not especially when its hot. It doesn't hurt that on my Stiletto I can bring all their friends!
I think the youngest age I was able to take them out (with moms approval) was about 4 or 5 for the girls.
